Hi you 2...I've been to see my boss who would have been interested at £2500 if it could be a liscensed as a 6 seater unfortunately it can't.So I've just put in our local paper and 4 others and on their website for £2200 ono...it will be in the paper tomorrow for 2 weeks so we will see what happens.I'm hoping not to have to tax it as thats due at the end of the month..if somebody wants me too I will though.
If i don't sell it it's no big deal ..its just that its sat here all the time unused.If i do sell it I'll pay it off the halifax card.
Just off to update sig as I've put another £45 away for my door and my tax and holiday money away.

Evening all ..I've had loads of phone calls about the car but am sure most of them are from the trade!! as they were asking questions that a normal motorist wouldn't ask...one indian man that called about 10 mins ago sounded genuine and is at work and asked if I'd be in tonight...so will see what happens there...
DH says if we don't get near asking price then we might as well keep it which I tend to agree with him on...we'll have to see.
Been to work and had a good earning day so thats ok.not a lot else to report but will keep you informed of the car situation.

Well I sold the car!!!...I got £1800 for it but haven't taxed it so will ring the AA (which I renewed January)and the insurance to cancel and get a refund.
Listen to this for a laugh...these Indians turned up from Blackburn I did the deal with them just as I'd done that deal 2 more turned up from Preston and they all sat in the car with the 2nd pair trying to buy it off the first pair....LOL...
I don't know how it turned out as I came in the house at that time and they were there for about 20 minutes....I've got my cash but do wonder whether the 2nd lot managed to buy it off them..lol...
Thought I'd share that with you all...cos it made me laugh..you really had to be there to believe it..it was so funny

I was wondering that ..there was also someone from Bolton who wanted to come as well but I asked him to phone after the other one from blackburn had been as I didn't want him to travel that far and be disappointed.Could you imagine 3 lots at it?
Wished that they had all arrived at the same time as I could have had a bidding war.
Must cancel the advert as its still got 13 days to go.
UPDATE: just had a phone call from the guys in Preston to say that they have bought the car now and that I had left a photo of JJ on the keyring and that they will post it back to me on Monday..thats nice of them...didn't ask how much for though.

Wow! Well done on the quick sale. And how funny about the quick resale. Very nice of the buyer to post you the keyring back. Now I'm studying your signature trying to see where the £1800 is going.

Morning everyone...gosh it's cold!!!...
I've been up since 4am and have spent the last couple of hours talking to DH about nothing in particular but it's nice to talk.He has said he doesn't want me to work today as he'd rather I bank the money that is lying around..I will have to go to town to do this though as the local branches aren't open on a saturday...I also want to send the log book thingy off (recorded delivery) as the tax is due in a fortnight and I have photocopied it as well so have a copy here.
So seeing as I'm going to town it seems a pity not to at least have a look in Evans as DD got me a £50 gift card for my birthday.So that will be guilt free shoping if I find anything and of course I'll have to pop into boots and see what offers are on...towards christmas gifts.
As I'm not working today I feel obliged to do a big paper sort out as I need to find my insurance for the zafira to see if I can claim some money back on the insurance as it's no longer needed and will need to phone the AA about the 12 month membership I've just renewed...also need to phone the local paper to cancel the ad but suspect that I can maybe only sort these things on monday so will write the details down and ring during jobs on monday if needs be...
One lot of washing is done and hung out the next is nearly finished as well...will update my sig later when I'm back..take care...have a good weekend xx

No work, and guilt free shopping!! What more can a girl want for a Saturday. I hope you enjoy, and manage to get some of the money back for AA and stuff too - that would be a nice bonus!

Thankyou...it can go off CC if I get it..I don't know what happens with insurance when you pay for the whole year and then need to cancel also the AA..will see anyway.
