If you work on the principal of not expecting any refund, then anything that you DO get back will be a bonus.

Good luck with it all x

Thanks my thinking exactly...I've also had a load of bingo money come through...but will leave it where it is at the moment as I was just into my o/d and have to sort through what belongs to my account and what is profit as I've got loads to go through...
  • If you sell the car dont see how they cant refund - same for AA! Wel done on selling the car & very amusing about the bidders! Could have had your own little auction!! Enjoy the shopping! Chatting with OH sounds lovely - as does he. WHat a sweetie. Sounds like you have a lovely close relationship :) Big hugs & have a lovely days guilt free shopping...

Thanks ISOM...it was amazing watching those guys (for as long as I dared)..thats probably the quickest change in history of 3 car owners..lol...I wished that they were all here at the same time though...well at least I no longer have to spend anything on that car at all so more to debt....
I can feel being CC free coming soon...lol...
then cos the loans are sort of in limbo will add my mortgage to the total...yahoo and watch that baby shrink..if I can be totally debt free by end of 2011..it'll be a miracle but am going to try hard...that will be some party complete with my favourite MOET Chandon...until then you lovelies will need to put up with my wittering

In that case ..I might agree with you then though nothing surprises me where you're concerned...you are so clever with this debt free businesss and really work hard at it.I keep promising myself that I'll do something else but am useless at it.

You are doing just fine as you are though, Taxi. Why stress about Not doing matched betting, ebay etc, when you are making such good inroads without them.

You have to get the balance right between paying off the debt and not working yourself up into a stressful frenzy over it, and I think you pretty much have that balance all sussed!!

Thankyou for that Hypno you are ...I would probably get stressed doing a load of other stuff and am better actually to put in extra hours at work for any extra if needed. The exception to that was the bingo as I could manage that.
Just an update...contacted AA and have suspended my membership until july 2008 as this is when the vauxhall one runs out.Once it runs out in 2009 I will not renew with them and look for a cheaper one.
Spoke to my insurance broker who said to drop a letter in dated yesterday and the insurance certificate and that my refund is approx £103.43...so that can be paid off something.
The local paper is shut so will phone them and cancel on monday,
    Right off to town now
