Thanks you 2...don't know whether I'll manage 20k by end of the year though. As I don't count the holiday savings, tax savings or window money in any of my totals...IYSWIM...I only count my loans and CCs...0

Thanks for that Hypno...it feels a bit like cheating as I got £700+ tax rebate in the bank this morning. I thought about using it towards the cost of my new back door but thought I'd get rid of the card instead as cabbing is quite quiet at the moment.
Glad to see you getting paid and look forward to seeing your new totals0 -
Why should you see it as cheating - you could have spent the money on nothing and had nothing to show for it - as it is you chose wisely and cleared a debt.
Nothing "cheating" about it - be proud xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Not cheating! You paid the tax when you didn't owe it, so it's rightly your money returned. As hypno says, be proud!Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620
