Mine too. I think I'll start a new one when the kids go back to school.

Will start it tomorrow so DH can help me get the paperwork out as I can't bend very well at the minute.

Well I like the diary...life can be mundane and thats just the way it is...up and down...keep posting and plugging away and you will get there in the end!

Morning Taxi - hope your back is better today. We had a big delay with OH's claim years ago because of the loss of earnings part - hope you get it sorted quickly.

Sometimes a new diary can work wonders. I left my old one because it didnt really reflect how I was feeling if that makes sense and it has done me the world of good to 'start again'.

Hi ISOM...hope you are starting to feel better and getting some rest.I agree with the mundane thing...I feel like I have no life except work.I really do need to change things.
Penguin can see where you are coming from re your new diary and that's how I feel...I seem to be losing the sense of me IYSWIM.
The loss of earnings etc will come eventually.I'll just plod on until then.
Hope everyone is having a good day xx
  • I like your diary, but i know where you are coming from..all good for different phases of your life. Good luck with accounts today..i don't envy that task.

Hi there ...I haven't even started the accounts!!!!...had to go out shopping and have just got back and my back is killing me I can hardly stand..so just lay on sofa while DH is cooking tea xx..going to phone the Drs for an appointment ..they'll say it's my weight probably but definitely need to go.
DHs accounts are all right the solicitor just wants a copy of the tax return now so no problems.
The problem lies with mine.Last tax year I didn't work at all due to my op between April and mid september...then I went back only part time.
Due to us having a business partnership we split the profits so we use both tax allowances.
The solicitors have sort of accepted DHs and the accountants explanation.
With mine they need to know what he based my loss of earnings on and because I didn't earn last year he had to do it another way so the only thing we can come up with is a takings diary of which I need tro get the bank statements out from April this year up un til now....and keep logging them individually for each shift IYSWIM..
