Hi KM ..how are you?...
DD seems to be coping better but DGS is not at nursery anymore as she had to give up work due to being worse off than being on the social.
I hope the results come soon also...take care xx0 -
Hi taxi, just a quick catch up..wow, you have been busy, and a brill overpayment. I hope i can be saying that soon. I can relate to the waiting for the exam results...nerve racking eh? Fingers crossed.xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Morning all...just having a quick catch up while awaiting DH getting up...then we will go to the park. Not a lot happening debt wise though ..have checked surveys etc.I have some for Toluna but am not going to do anymore at the moment as they never answer their e-mails.I have been doing surveys etc but my points aren't going up!!!!
catch you all up later x0 -
Hi everyone....feeling a bit down today...I don't normally but feeling stressed out.
The economy is starting to depress me coupled with the fuel strikes plus waiting for these stupid exam results...I won't be able to work if I can't get diesel.!!!..so am feeling stressed out with it all at the moment.
Nothing to report really so hope you've all had a good day x0 -
Hi Taxi, sorry you are feeling down. We all have times when we are like this. I know what you mean about the fuel, you cannot budget from one week to the next as it just keeps on going up, which in itself affects everything else. The cost of food also seems to have gone through the roof. We live in a rural area and spend more on fuel that we do on food which is very scary. Hope things brighten up for you soon.

HI taxi. Sorry to hear you are feeling low. I've been very down myself too. I think it's the normal ups and downs of DFW life (or maybe just life). The fuel thing must be very worrying for you and everyone who drives for a living. Hope you feel brighter soon.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Hi Lucielle..nice of you to pop in and thanks for posting...the price of fuel is a pain but I am not overly bothered by that as I claim it all back as I'm a taxi driver but the thought of maybe not being able to get any means that we won't earn anything if we run out.
I feel sorry for people on fixed incomes as like you say they can't budget for all the increases in gas, electric, fuel food and the list goes on...everything is so depressing at the moment...one step forward and ten back!!!0 -
Hi Seaxwyn..sorry we cross posted there....everyone I see or speak to is also down at the moment and it's very draining.Sorry to hear that you are also down. Thanks ..just feel like crying and I wonder why I bother working or whether I should take the easy route of bankruptcy...though on the other hand I won't do that as I believe in paying my debts..sorry about the rant but this government stitches us workers like kippers and it annoys me xx0

Hi taxi
sorry you are feeling low - don't think the weather helps either - back to grey drizzle here today. Fingers crossed that the current dispute ends quickly. Give yourself a bit of a treat and some time to chill out tonight if you can. It may be a long road but it is worth it and we will get there in the end.
Take care.0 -
The assessor from the course phoned before and we are doing our driving tests on tuesday...let's hope we have some diesel....still no results on the exam.0
