I know what you mean about nights out, although i am quite happy staying in now and watching some good telly...gawd how times have changed.
Re the shredding, i am with you on that one ..makes more mess, but i send it over to my sis, for her rabbits.

any news o the "exam" results?!! Well done on debtbusting & bargain hunting! Where did you get the micro sysstem? I need one as my CD player is bust! Saw a good one from argos but it wa 59 & I cant bring myself to do it! How times have changed lol!! Keep up the good work!

Thanks you 2..no sis and no rabbits around here I'm afraid..but may think of some way of disposing of it rather than landfill!!!
ISOM..it was at our Lidl as an opening offer(official opening day as they have been open for a few months)..they had sewing machines £25..slippers £1..kids bikes £6...golf trolleys £10 and colour tvs £40(they ran out of tvs in thew first half hour)

Hi everyone..what a lovely hot day here today..too hot really.Business was ok today and I'm really tired with the heat.Am going to make an overpayment off the halifax card tomorrow...don't quite know how much yet but will work it out later.I'm waiting for DD to give me £230 she owes me tomorrow so that I can add that.
Not a lot else happening here though..still no results from the exams yet!!!!!

No not yet!!!!...I will let you know as soon as I know...edexcel are the examing board and nobody can give me a definitive answer as to when we get the results.I was told 5 days when I asked (or that's what they thought)...will have to stay in suspense a little longer

I will definitely pass the NVQ ..it's the BTEC I'm worried about...it's driving me mad.
