So I can't be offered a course because of a pandemic but everyone before and after me can? I can't see them doing that, it would be unjust and unfair. 

No, it would be a sensible response to a pandemic until we come out of lockdown....
Using your contorted logic, everyone who took points in the decades before SAC's were introduced should now be offered a complimentary retrospective course and their points wiped? 
As injustices go, this ranks pretty low in my estimation...
