Forgot to mention.........

2 iron bird baths, the stick ones you put in the ground.  Bath bit shaped like an open daffodil, painted yellow and so pretty.

Stuck them in my Mum's garden and forgot to tell her.  I had picked them up for her.  Few days later heard her muttering to the lady who helps with the garden 'Well I don't know where they have come from, they just appeared'......

I confessed and we all had a giggle over both of them scratching their heads for a few days.......

zeus and i have definately seen a decline in takeaways been thrown away!!  not sure whether  to be happy or sad about it tbh!!  our coinage collection now stands at £11.78. found 2 pairs of headphones this morning. not liking these damp foggy early mornings. have had to do 3 different walkies for our 3 as DH has been away on his jollies. hope everyone is keeping well. xx

 A property one road down is having a extension.  So managed to nab 25 paving slabs we did ask permission.  It was a shame as the builders had put soil on the top so could not any more than out than what we had.  While we removing them someone else pulled and tried to pull out some slabs.  I said they wont be coming out.  And he said shame as I needed some for a shed a base.

That is a shame for them calley. We are looking to erect a greenhouse next year. Luckily there are loads of slabs around our property, some stacked in the car port and others unceremoniously dumped at places on the boundary. It’s one of DH’s jobs to collect them all into one place (he is a bit reluctant…) some have been left against our 17th century mass rock and have moss growing on them.

Very thick cardboard boxes originally used for Carpet tiles.  They had just been thrown on a skip.  Sister in law moving.  Perfect for her precious items.

My son just moved house and was paying £45 for 10 boxes from one of the storage companies !  He did have lots of recycled ones too but I was shocked at the price !
