Very surreal......

took Tiggy for really early morning walk.  Standing in the middle of the road as if waiting to be picked up, a small box.  I had to investigate.  Half a bottle of Christian Dior Eua Savage.

I had a success a few days ago which I owe to this thread prompting me to investigate any skips I see outside student accommodation. I found these, the Sistema box was full of cooked green lentils which it rather went against the grain to empty back into the skip but I expect the pigeons enjoyed them.



I'm planning to include the chopping board with my next bag of charity shop donations as I have one that size already and although it is quite scratched it is still useable and I'm keeping the plastic box.

I seem to be on a roll.........  

Walking Tiggy today spotted 5 flower pots (earthenware not plastic) and one small terracota planter.  Had a look at them but just too heavy to carry home.

Later as OH and I were driving to supermarket I asked him to drive down that road and I couldn't believe they were still there so many hours later.  Hoofed them into car.  No chips or cracks.  Am thrilled.

Popping by just to catch up with posts. Plnty still going on.

I have sold most of my womblings this year and have made about £100. Very pleasing.

I am not seeing as mmuch stuff around at themoment but maybe I neeed to get out on foot more. Can I borrow Zeus or Twiggy?? Please?

good morning all, zeus in takeaway mode on his 4am walk this morning!!! lots of bits of mcdonalds and kebabs galore!! he was very proud of himself! beau and bailey my other 2 poochies helped share the spoils! all 3 currently asleep in a food coma!!

haven't ever sold anything but on closer inspection the bottle of Christian Dior Perfume is almost full.  Thinking of selling it as every penny helps.

I have had some fabulous finds especially the 2 mirrors which I was happy to give away.

But the greatest find goes to my SIL.  She had the gilt mirror and I duly explained how I had acquired it and all about the thrill of Wombling.  

She was driving down a residential street and saw a pile of stuff for free.  She stopped, investigated and picked up a host of tins and jars (heavy but no time to look) but she knows I love old tins.  Also a water colour of Venice, box of LP's.

The tins were full of coins !

1p's, 2p's, 10's etc.  Over a hundred pounds !

Beginners luck ?
