Yesterday, I wombled a brand new (yes, brand new) double mattress. It was just being put out across the road and as I was looking at it the owner told me he had bought it for his daughter but she didn't like it !
This is the same house that I just recently wombled the ornate mirror from. He asked me if I would like it so did a frantic search of my brain ('who needs it, who needs it ?')...............but just said yes anyway. He carried it over to my parents house for me all the while telling me that he was so glad that I had taken it as it was going to the dump !
(I could have wept).
It is going to the same sister-in-law that the mirror went to.
