I'm hoping to find a cylinder or washing machine to get the drum out and create a fire pit BBB, you have some good finds.balabooberlies said:Well March was another very lean month. Did see things that I would have brought home but I am de-cluttering so have remained strict with myself.
21pence road coinage.
People have started throwing their coupons away again. Was thrilled to save £3.50 today on a shop of quite a bit RTC/YS.
Hope you are all still wombling......

So I have given away the metal ramps to a neighbour.
A metal windmill I am giving to my MiL tomorrow. The point on the bottom is a bit weak and needed a holder. I am using the bottom of a wrecked patio umbrella for that. She is also getting the stone teapot shaped planter with chives in. She is very happy with that. I asked her firstI picked both items up a month or so ago.
The rest of the umbrella I am repurposing with fairly lights and fabric for a cheerful shade in my newly planned sitting area in the garden.
More wombling tonight. I found a stack of metal garden critters: 2 butterflies, 2 salamanders, a bee and 3 flowers. I am very happy as they are going over the allotment to be part of my current project of covering my shed in flowers and wildlife made from found objects and created items from my stash.. Such fun. 😁Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. Officially retired at 55 2021 [/b][/b].Mortgage free April 2021Challenges 2024: Decluttering Campaign 32/100 bags plus 0 large items. We have raised beds on the allotment which DH made from scavenged pallets: he decided he wanted to get something to put on top to make a couple of them into sort of cold frames so we wouldn't have every windowsill covered in pots. While out with the dogs I noticed a neighbour, who is having a new bathroom, had her old bathroom on the driveway, including a shower screen so I knocked and asked and she was only too pleased for it to be taken. It's perfect, Result!6

Nonna that's great.
I saw an ad the other day with a raised (portable, on legs) bed with a hood like feature. About £350.00.....for one !
Have been racking my brain as to what could be used to create the same type hood/greenhouse effect. I saw some metal/mesh fireguards and thought they were the right shape but what could you attach as a covering ?
Still thinking.
In reverse wombling I put out some very ripe fruit and it quickly went. I intend to put out more 'stuff' over the next few months as I am decluttering. I also like balance.....my excuse anyway........
