TBH It really is quite difficult to establish what the real problem is amongst the ranting.Perhaps others have a clearer idea
As far as I can understand it (correct me if I'm wrong) - you must have somehow signed up with SP and presumably agreed the tariff and dd but then heard nothing more - did they take the DD from your bank account and did they ask you for an initial meter reading either over the phone or via e-mail. It seems to be a classic case of just using energy, not sending in readings, not checking bills or DD's and then getting upset and annoyed when a big bill finally comes in.
What actually was your complaint that you escalated to the Ombudsman and seem to have rejected. Is the latest rant to do with the original complaint or a new one as I'm guessing that as you rejected the initial complaint no one is interested any more.
A time line of what has been going regarding communications, meter readings and bills/DD would possibly help us determine what your problem is but please make it clear and concise without the emotion/stress etcNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0
