beamerguy said:Sarah, you have received a letter from the stupid DCBL .... YES??
The letter states it is not subject to bailiff <<<< and it's not ..... it's just DCBL puffing up their feathers with a scary letter ...... typical rogue trader tactics. It's a debt collector letter faking you owe them £170 ..... NO YOU DON'T ..... DCBL ARE SCAMMING YOU
Please show us a copy of the letter, scan it and post it here
Don't worry, the fools can be easily beatenhello, sorry for the late reply. Here is the letter I just don't want to put my address online. I keep getting advice about appealing it or what to do if my appeal fails but I never received a fine in the first place so I don't have a PCN number so I don't understand how to proceed. They have said I sat in a motorway services for too long and the camera eye is enough to go on but they won't send me photos of my car and I don't recall it. It was 4 years ago apparently and I don't know how or why they decided to track me down 4 years on with no prior contact? Please can you help me. I tried to contact the parking company CP plus and they said go back to DCBL

Too late for any appeal to c p plus , but you can email a SAR to the c p plus DPO to get your data , they cannot refuse this request for data , it's the law
The Newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum has what you need to know , just scroll down to the fourth post inside it , count them , the first post being post 1
They used a tracing service to find you , it's that simple
Without a court order , no bailiffs are chasing you , just their powerless debt collector section , no bailiffs will be calling , you won't be on telly either3 -
Sarah, you will get all the help you need to beat these rogue traders. Please listen to all the members above.
DCBL are currently sending out rubbish scary letters for CP Plus trying to chase old tickets
DCBL think you are a mug, of course your are not. DCBL are the mugs by adding fake amounts and if it does go to court, for fakery, they will be spanked.
And ignore the "can't pay we'll take it away" rubbish, worst TV rubbish going
I love their reference in BIG letters about the Supreme Court ?
Clearly they do not understand this decision because the court ruled the parking charge included it's collection, not to add fake amounts ???
DCBL play on words and not reality ... very sad company
