Can anyone help me get rid of this annoying thing that keeps overriding my page view when using some websites - run of the mill local news and national newspaper sites that have ads mostly.

Using Safari on an iMac.

Malwarebytes shows nothing and I can quit Safari and it goes but will come back. It takes over the entire page not a pop up.

TIA
