ink_central, if you have a problem with whats posted here then please start your own thread on a relevant board and do not hijack someone else's thread. Whether your motives were honourable or not doesn't matter, what matters is that this has turned into your own personal advertisement and has taken away from the fact that we have someone who is distressed about their debts and their life and came here for help and support.
If you want to argue the point then start your own thread or take it to Private Mail, please do not post it here. Thanks. He huihuinga taangata he pukenga whakaaro – A meeting of people; a wellspring of ideas (Maori proverb)0 -

Hi Let me just clarify something here
First of all I never approved of the post Ink Central wrote on this board, the thank you quote above is out of context, i was actually thanking you for ending a dispute with someone else on the boards. I don't normally quote PM's but as you've taken mine out of context.
Also having now read the above I'm a little shocked. The posts really are NOT what debt free wannabee is about. This is a board for encouraging and helping people through their practical debt problems. The above post about who you are and your business is wholly inappropriate, and if I'm honest actually slightly offensive. I rarely interfere with such issues personally as that's why I have the abuse controllers.
However I think its important i make my views clear as it has been mooted that i think something else.
I would also ask everyone not to comment on this post, but to leave it be and everyone to get back to the original post and trying to help the poster

I have come back into the office at 2.30am because it was troubling me that I had withdrawn an offer which had been intended as a lovely gift for moneysavingexpert.com subscribers, and I had indeed with that withdrawal post diverted attention from somebody else's thread, or "hijacked" as the criticism has been put. I took this action because I saw it as extremely serious that someone was of the opinion that my Company was "Spam Spam Spam" [a previous post on this forum].
Debt can in extreme circumstacnes lead to suicide and I have personally known 2 people who commited suicide during my life, and we have to promote our wisdom to Kath, who naturally will not take her own life, but nonetheless she may be depressed. I met these 2 people in a psychiatric hospital in Cambridgeshire approximately 7 years ago (I was not myself suffering from any kind of depression).
I came onto this thread in the first place to help Kath, in actual fact this was my SOLE MOTIVATION, and to this fact I would swear. I didn't realise that it was being perceived instead as a free illegal Company advert. My reasons for giving background was that I felt it added strength to my points, so that at the same time as giving what I felt was good advice to Kath, also, perhaps a success story in the making that would therefore cheer Kath up (or they are deluded ambitions, time would tell). Would therefore cheer Kath up with positive hope for the future, in view of the fact I had myself gone bankrupt 4 years previous, and in view of the fact that Kath has some possible money-making ideas of her own, to help her out of her situation. I do try to think very deeply & sensitively about anything I posted, I do not take the matter of helping someone out of depression lightly. I would re-iterate for the 2nd time that I AGREE with you, my original post onto this thread went over-the-top in its backing up, but subsequently it was looking like nearly everyone thought that I wrote it to promote my business, which made me extremely upset - because my whole business has been set up eventually to give itself away (all cash) to places like Africa. It appears it is even still being speculated, in a nonetheless friendly message which I appreciate, that I may have had dishonourable intentions in making my original post for Kath. I would also re-iterate that despite the fact that Martin wishes to distance himself from me - in respect of the fact I have quoted on a forum my interpretation of "words to the effect of" of a message he sent to me in a Private Message, I did type that in with SOLE MOTIVATION of wishing to support his site. I am sorry that I have misunderstood a message he sent to me, and today sadly, I created a negative day for you all (it was just today, everything will be OK again tommorow!)
Finally, I came back to the office because I felt that "Spam Spam Spam" post would have been so upsetting to Kath20 to have seen. I absolutely agree let's get back (without me of course) to helping Kath, but my whole withdrawal of a separate offer was merely in response to me, as Company Director, seeing that "Spam Spam Spam" was the opinion of my Company.
And may I please, as soon as I can, send Kath the registered envelope of £250 to boost her funds. I only ever wanted to help Kath in the first place. And I U-turn & will send off every Free ink cartridge that has been requested. As soon as I have completed the final transactions for you, I will do what I think you all want, and close my account. I do pray though, like, that you will have some respect for what I thought I was trying to do for moneysavers in all the posts I made. Every single one of them I intended to be honest, sincere & in the common good of the subscribers.
Since I have responded to Martin's comments, against his instruction, perhaps it is best that before I am expelled, or asked to leave, for having done this, I offer to leave of my own volition from the money-saving-expert dialogue. This would be effectively the 2nd time I am expelled because I also got kicked out from The Leys in Cambridge at 17 because I had been caught with a lady of the night in the local hotel AND I had borrowed from a fellow pupil £2,500 - there was a school rule not to borrow more than £5. Sorry but I had to end on a more humorous note! It's not written to advertise any facts about me (ref. a comment in a recent post) - I've just been typing too much recently that's all - it's just to try to cheer you all up!0 -

Hi All,
I'm sure she hasn't been frightened off, if I remember rightly at one point she did mention that she found talking about this very upsetting and in her own time will let us know how she is getting on.
Kath,
I do hope that you're coping ok and that you are some making some progress with how you want to tackle it all. Even though my debt is considerably smaller, the feeling of panic and being overwhelmed is something we all have in common and that is why this board is so important - even if you don't want to post, keep checking in and reading the posts of others with the same level of debt, and hopefully little by little you will begin to see a way forward and feel less alone.

Goodbye from ink_central. Take care Kath, you will make it! Here we retire from MSE involvement (we can't comment on any matter via forum because it has been requested we don't contribute). Take care & best wishes to all.0
