Slammed! Talk Talk go ahead with switch without my permission!🤬

Options
Hi.
Last night my Talk Talk Broadband stopped working. Checked the usual things then checked my account. My number had been disconnected!! It was only then I remembered receiving an email on 21st May from Talk Talk saying 'Sorry you're leaving' blah blah. I had got on to them straight away at the time and requested that the switch was cancelled and that I wanted to stay with Talk Talk. I was assured it would be cancelled and someone would contact me within 48hrs. No one contacted me but I completely forgot about chasing up presuming that the switch would be cancelled anyway. Fast forward to today, following phone calls to various different departments within Talk Talk and being told by one of their advisers that I must have authorised the switch as how could anyone else have access to my details, I demanded that a manager contact me. Still waiting!!
The weird thing is my phone line is still working but I've no idea who will bill me for calls made! I have received nothing from any other company. We're now here with 4 teenagers and a mountain of school and uni work and no internet.
Also weirdly, this morning i signed into our Sky Account to see what  broadband deals were available ( we don't have any sky services at the minute but the account has been open for over 20 years and we have always just switched services on and off as required or when getting a deal).
I'm just finding it all very strange and have no idea who can help or advise?

Thanks in advance 😉

Try dialing 17070 see what number is read back ( is it your number ) does it continue with any other statements, may not give the company name but may indicate if it’s a WLR provider or LLU, then try 150 , this may put you through to a customer services , they may even say the company name ,
