This time round - We had 8 viewings over 2 weeks. The 6th person and the 8th offered. Accepted asking price offer from the 8th. No second viewings.
Previous house - 3 viewings on first day on market, accepted an offer on second day!

We viewed a property once, made an offer which has been accepted. This all happened during lockdown. As the house is being lived in we didn’t want to push for another viewing. As lockdown is easing slightly I’m quite keen to go and see it again. Just really to remind myself, consider things which may need work and secure my thoughts that we want it. Do you think the vendor would be concerned?

I've normally sold within 2 viewings, mainly because I do the valuation and price it about right

    Sold last summer.
I think I had 8/9 people view. 4 of them offered. 2 of these increased their initial offer. 1 of them to a point that I was happy to take it off the market! This was over a 3 week period.
Would note though that imo i priced it pretty realistically as I was keen to sell. Houses in the location can often stick around if not priced correctly. Indeed, a house on the same road is still for sale over a year later, after 2 price drops, but still overpriced!

I think we had about eight or nine viewings when we sold our house in 2015.

We are on the market now. We've had 6 viewings, one couple came twice, and two offers so far.

I know it an obvious thing to say but price is the only obstacle to a quick sale. Price it correctly and it will go quick. One near us was on sale at £415k, little interest. Reduced to £400k, little interest. Reduced to 'offers over £375k' at start of year plenty of interest and we offered £370k, £375k, £377k and £380k and he didn't accept so walked away. Still on sale for over a year now when others have sold on same street. Not a fan of the 'offers over' approach as dont think it works.
  • We went on the market in January and had an asking price offer on the first day. Finally completed last month after the restrictions were lifted.

We had three viewings in 4 weeks.  The third one bought it - made the offer in person during the viewing which we felt was odd!  Not that we’re complaining.

Edit: we listed late January, chain in place in Feb and completed in May; would have been quicker but the searches took a long time due to the lockdown.

Listed in mid-Feb, had 20 viewings booked in within two days of the advert going live, went to best and final offers to close on the Friday (5 days after it went online). The very first person who wallked through the door made a cash offer on the same day, he'd seen the board go up before the ad went online and rang the estate agents straight away. My eventual buyers didn't have a second viewing but came to measure up about a week before completion.
