It’s not a problem, @elsiepac, as long as you are okay. (We haven’t seen you much this month, so I was beginning to worry.)
I have another shop to declare. We walked the 2 miles down to Sainsbugs to buy a birthday card and, while there, hit the condemned aisle. £4.28 spent on YS pizza (last night’s dinner), YS quiche (lunch today), YS lemon yoghurt, YS pork pies, YS hummus and YS spinach (already sweated down and in the freezer). That brings our spend for July to£152.43/£120, so £32.43 overspent.

Hello All
Just a quick question, does anybody know if or where you can buy a supermarket trolley token?. I was given one for the old round pound coin but now get very frustrated as I never seem to have a pound coin to put in the trolley when I go for a monthly shop!. I have never seen them on sale anywhere.6 -

Elsiepac please add me for €300 for July
€65 spent (rounded up for ease)
spent in Aldi and Lidl today and 1st July. New offers started so took advantage plus as it is very hot here we are eating more salad so I top that up more often. I’m trying different fruit with my girl too but so far no success on anything. She used to love it all now it’s pears only but I keep trying
€235 remaining
this is over the last week in Aldi, Lidl on fruit, veg, salad, meat etc and lentils on offer.
€163 remaining
due to the new rulings in place from today on the use of face masks I’ve got to try to only go shopping once a week. But let’s not go into that.
We stocked up on fruit, veg, salad. Plus meat, fish on offer, frozen stuff on offer, cheese, yogurts, bread, milk and a few cupboard items. We also need to get water which is €2 and already included above. We will go and get that later. Lidl is cheaper overall but Aldi do the water that my girl can drink.
€113 remaining
€82 spent over the last 10 days
lidl had the mince beef on offer €4 a kilo so I got 2 packets plus fruit, veg, salad, yogurts, bread etc. I also stocked up on my daughters favourite cakes
€31 left which is more than enough to see me through the end of the month:money::rotfl::T6 -

Around here, MrT's trolleys still take both the old and the new £1 coins, so old tokens still work.

I'm still using my old tokens. I use them both here in England and also when in France on holiday. There's very little difference in size between £1 coin and 1 Euro coin.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. I need to add up spends at some point and sort myself a new notebook.
I've had an Aldi spend, a T@sco spend for the cake, which was about £8. That was for two different cakes in the end . I ended up being in work Sun, Mon, and Tues so made a gf one yesterday for myself, as i got home too late on Monday.
My DD1 also got milk yesterday from Lidl, so I need to also add that.
We have avoided the shops today, so no shopping. However, I ordered the food processor attachment for my Kenwood, as there is so much I can't do at the moment without one. I haven't had one for the past six months.
Hopefully, i'll save some extra pennies on at least Houmous. Can also make coleslaw with the massive tub of mayo. I'm sure ill discover the other stuff as I go.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £85.95/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. One person vegan household with occasional visitors)Forever learning the art of frugality6
