Ordered a hard drive on Amazon. Wrong item recieved... Amazon Deliberate Delays!
Comments

No one is treating you like a criminal and as for the "deliberate delay", there is no delay, deliberate or not as the law allows the seller a reasonable period to refund you (14 days).thetriggerhappypwner said:Amazon are treating me like a criminal.
A-Z team are slow, and invent excuse after excuse for deliberate delay.
It's already been explained, many businesses and sellers are experiencing problems with staffing due to a certain global pandemic that is occurring and this may well be why the drive wasn't able to be delivered.
Sit back, chill out, give it a few more days for something to happen and let go of the idea that Amazon and the seller are out to get you.

Going by previous threads, I give it another day or so before the abuse begins and posts start getting removed.0

Everyone is treating them so badly by not rearrangeing their day to suit and Amazon for not jumping to attention to solve the problem immediately
Of course as soon as the allegations started that Amazon called the OP a liar I wondered how much of this is saga is a fairy tale as I have not come across any reports that Amazon behave like this in general.

OK then, I messaged the seller many times through Amazon, and the rep called me a liar saying he could not see the messages I had sent. This is enraging, and believe me, I will not give you the satisfaction of getting me so frustrated that I start posting "abuse" as you call it, all in a deliberate attempt to get me banned.Jumblebumble said:

That problem was not as serious as this one. That was only around £20, not the £190 as in this case.Rainbowgirl84 said:

OP's previous threads explain a lot. Worth a read.

Despite being told that the seller has up to 14 days to refund you, you've obviously already made your mind up that Amazon and the seller concerned are out to rip you off and nothing anyone on here can say is going to change your mind so in all honesty, there's not really much point in continuing the discussion.0 -
Amazons own website say 1 week. I keep being told random times, from 1 week to 2.
1 week is what I am going with as that is what it says on the "Problem with your order" page on Amazons website, and so does the Amazon "Managing Director" for the UK after I emailed them.0
