Brilliant thread.
1) I am not going to put anything on credit even if it's 0% interest.
2) I'm also going to use four boxes - one for each week of the month - and put the weeks budget in each one. When the money is spent that's it! No more overspending so our spare cash can go to paying off the mortgage.

Things to do differently in 2008.
I want to learn properly to invest money I make, wether it be stocks, or pension or savings, becoming debt free would have been pointless if i didnt continue.
I opened an account with Hargreaves Lansdown and they started sending me copies of their in house literature, from that I bought a few funds from them based on the blurb with my isa limit and they've all done well this financial year so hooray.
