Actually  he styles himself Doctor and, AFAIAA,  is perfectly entitled to do so,

I obtained the compensation due to an error by the judge. as you say at enforcement stage .  My point is that, if a judge commits an error, he/she can be called to account.  I fully understand that his/her decision can only be challenged at appeal, but his behaviour language, conduct can all be complained of as set out on the website.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • Thank you everyone for all your messages. I have some more clarity of the total sum ordered to pay.
160 initial amount claimed (100 for the parking charge and 60 additional admin fee)

    25 court fee

    25 hearing fee

    50 solicitors fee

    50 other fees

    3.02 interest.

I have emailed the judge (the court said I should) for clarification and reasoning behind the other fees and reasoning for the added 60 (as he never mentioned it).

Does anything else look off here?

    Thanks

They are not allowed to claim the admin fee.  They are not allowed to claim any other fee apart from those specified in the  Civil Procedure rules (CPRs)

£110 more than the law allows then.

  • Once you have done your submissions of the WS & costs to court and claimant's solicitor, can you please do this (below) urgently!
Thanks, and yes I'll get on it pronto.

For anyone interested, I have attached the (redacted) final version of my WS and exhibits in case anyone wanted to have a quick glance over it, but also to help others with the final assembly (assuming I've done it right) and to provide pictures of this specific car park.

For the sake of making it easier for people in a similar boat, I've attached my (redacted) defence here also, so it's all in one place.

And for forum searching ease, some keywords are HX car park management limited, Damside street, Lancaster, Gladstones solicitors, 10 ten minute grace period, witness statement, cost schedule, defence defense.

I've seen a few other threads with the exact same circumstances so no doubt there will be more to come!
Hello, is there any chance I could obtain a Word copy of the witness statement document? I have a witness statement of my own to prepare this weekend.

@robertcox999 hasn't posted for three months now. You might attract his attention by sending him a PM, but of course there is no guarantee.

This has been really helpful, Thank you.

I did notice in your schedule of costs  16 hours at Litigant in Person rate of £19 per hour.

It would be helpful to know what/where you based £19per hour from?
