I raised a chargeback today for a cancelled holiday (payments were to a third party provider who is offering vouchers). Has anyone successfully obtained a refund? They are stating it may take 8 weeks.

Yes, some have. Of course, it all depends on the specific contract.1

Hi zx, I think I am just asking from a generic point of view. Someone in a similar predicament who could offer advice would be great of course0

There is no generic point of view - it depends on the contract you entered into and who cancelled.0

Ok let me rephrase, has anyone who has had their flight cancelled by the operator had any refund given via the chargeback route?
MCFC - regardless of the contrast I entered into they broke it by cancelling my flight. I genuinely thought this would have been obvious. Why would I cancel a holiday then ask for a refund? Each to their own I guess!0 -
My flight was cancelled on 19th March. First contacted Barclaycard 23rd March by secure message, sent a wad of documents on 10th April. Trying not to phone and add to the queues but cracked and called on Friday. They told me they couldn't give an estimated timescale. 25 new people had been trained to deal with chargebacks and were due to start soon.
It's unlikely to be a quick turnaround.1 -

No, it wont be dealt with as per the terms of my contract - EU Law overrides any terms of contract.0 -

Nothing in your previous posts indicates a discrepancy between the contract terms and EU Legislation.0
