Barclaycard chargeback for cancelled holiday - any success stories?

I did a chargeback on a Barclays debit card against a cancelled flight by Lufthansa, whilst they said they would refund me, 10 weeks later and they still hadn't, so I asked for a debit card chargeback, I recieved my money back last week, after only about 3 weeks after asking Barclays, however it does say they could still snatch it back if the investigation goes against me. I hope this doesn't happen, but cant see why it should, as they cancelled my flight,... end of...

I have also tried this with Holiday Extras, who I had booked a hotel at the airport & car parking, again, they cancelled when the hotel closed..They tried the old, this is a non refundable item rouse.... I am still waiting to hear on this one...

Looks like 8 weeks for chargebacks is becoming the norm. That is our advised timescale now. Also we are working on a 4 week backlog of callbacks. (sorry can't say who)
This is only going to get worse as more co's fold.
