MSE Poll: Have you got a summer holiday booked?

We were supposed to go to the Maldives in May, cancelled by Emirates and fully refunded.  We will probably replan that for next April.  No plans for anything else this year, may have a long weekend somewhere in Europe in August depending on how the quarantine rules change. 

I have to say, anyone still planning to go to USA anytime this year is brave, the virus is only getting worse there, hopefully even if we relax quarantine for some countries it will remain firmly in place for USA and South American countries.

The icing on the cake was when I found out that our early morning flight that got us back in the UK mid-afternoon had been changed to a mid-afternoon departure that got us back in the UK at 00:45.

I didn't say "mid afternoon flight from Greece".

It's a mid afternoon departure from BHX compared to our original early morning departure from BHX.

Depart BHX 15:20

Arrive Kos 21:25

Depart Kos 22:25

Arrive BHX 00:45

Plus at least an hour's drive home.

We really dislike late departures from resorts, even if you can keep your room on.

The original flight back at 13:00 would have had us probably being picked up at 10:00.

And back in BHX at 15:20.

Did you book with Jet2?

Jet2 wanted our balance paid the usual 10 weeks before departure.
