If holiday has been paid for and you have proof of cancellation file a Chargeback

Raise a "Chargeback" against the transaction stating non-supply of service, (using proof of cancellation) also state that you have rejected any vouchers that you are entitled to do under English law (even if you not been offered any).
Normally with a Chargeback the money is returned once it’s processed

Virgin can dispute the Chargeback, but it must supply evidence to the card company.

If Virgin is successful, then the Chargeback is reversed and the money taken back  from your account

But apparently this can take 120 days - so I may as well wait the 90 days for Virgin's refund :(

Only if you truly believe Virgin's timescale.
New User name as MSE gave me a number in my old one.

Refunds are starting to be paid - I am on a FB group dedicated to Virgin's lack of refunds.
I am still waiting for a cancellation for my 18th July Virgin Holiday. It is after the 12th July which is the confirmed cancellation end date but is not using VA flights so does not fall into the flight resurrection from 20th July. Complete limbo.

I'm at 80 days from cancellation without yet receiving a refund. I raised a chargeback through my credit card company a couple of weeks ago, will have to wait to see which one is the slowest to respond.
