I'd be interested to hear if ANYONE has actually received a refund from Virgin Atlantic or Virgin Holidays since the Pandemic began?
If so, how long did it actually take please?

Don't recall seeing a post saying anyone has got a refund directly from Virgin, but I expect those posts are more unlikely, due most are complaining.onesixfive said:I'd be interested to hear if ANYONE has actually received a refund from Virgin Atlantic or Virgin Holidays since the Pandemic began?

Might have seen some who files a Chargeback against them.

I wondered this as well. It would be quite sly to offer customers refunds and then not pay them out until they were able to get back into business again.
If the US Borders re-open in July (I believe Virgin starting up flights to the US from the UK again in July is a sign that they have information which will be shared with the public shortly), then expect a flood of people suddenly getting their refunds through, as if by magic

The trouble I see ahead it looks like some companies were already in debt, they can not afford to pay out until they get more cash in from future bookings, so end up being nothing better then a legal Ponzi scheme

If holiday has been paid for and you have proof of cancellation file a Chargebackonesixfive said:

Normally with a Chargeback the money is returned once it’s processedVirgin can dispute the Chargeback, but it must supply evidence to the card company.
If Virgin is successful, then the Chargeback is reversed and the money taken back from your account
