Morning all,

Lovely blue sky atm but I did get wet during the dogwalk.

Ruby, sorry to hear about the 'other side', must have come as a blow.Lots of hugs from me.

TA, I love watching the birds and we usually have lots of activity but DH says I have to stop for the moment as we have seen a few rats. One of the neighbours said an empty house at the back of our houses has an infestation so their neighbours have been moving stuff about in the garden. We have a dry stone wall at the back with a banking that leads to the other houses at the rear, and I have seen a smallish one pop in & out of the gaps Last night a bigger one jumped onto the bird table, couldn't believe it got up so we cleaned it and today we have 2 disgruntled wood pigeons waiting in vain for their brekkie not to mention all the others.

Not sure what's for tea but had the delivery so will choose later. Bye for now x

Truth Taff? it was awful  I pride myself on being a pretty good cook but gravy without meat juices.....no its my nemesis. 
Consequently tonight Ive decided on takeaway. First for a long time.  Wish I could get TAs fish and chips.  I  have a voucher so it will be as good as free but the choice is limited so be have to go with a pizza. There is a nice chinese on the offer but wow its expensive so Ill see later how I feel

Hello all.

Many thanks for all your birthday wishes, I had a lovely day yesterday, however I do feel um ...a bit delicate this morning. My own fault as it's self inflicted from too much indulgence    Will I ever learn ? Probably not !

The sun is out again but there is a strong wind and the clouds are moving pretty fast, so I have put a load in the wm. I had to add my dressing gown as I decided the colour wasn't to my taste and I threw a cup of tea down myself. I'll never make a juggler 'cos I'm obviously rubbish at it ! I may have to do a bit of rain dodging to put the washing out and get it dry as showers are forecast.

I want to hoover the upstairs, but it can wait if I'm not feeling up to it, neither the dust, nor I, can go anywhere anytime soon as those shielding in Wales are in another 2 months of lockdown til mid August.

DD was at the hub school yesterday and they were full with some keyworkers unable to get their children in any hub school. They seem busier now than at the start of this pandemic when they only had 1 or 2 per day. Our schools go back on June 29th but no one seems to know how it can be achieved, everyone seems to be scratching their heads and trying to get a quart in a pint bottle. The DGC won't be impressed as DD and SiL will be going back full time and so will they as the children of keyworkers, but their friends may only be in on reduced days and hours. It seems to that there will be no education being given either, just familiarisation of the new system, while the staff iron out the kinks ready for September.

Tea tonight will be the rest of the steak, sliced thinly in a black bean sauce with noodles. The pieces were rather large so we didn't eat it all and it is too good to waste. However with the way I'm feeling at present I may just manage a piece of toast

RedRuby I was going to congratulate you on not needing chemo, but now I will send you all my love and good wishes for the scan result too. I'm so sorry that you're going through such an absolutely rubbish time again.

RosyRed will you be on SP countdown like me ? I am determined to get to it, as it's been a long time coming. Being a Waspi woman is pants.

Morning everyone
Having a lazy day today as I’m back in work tomorrow and have had my duties changed to an earlier start. Think we will be busy tomorrow. 

Struggling at the moment as finding it hard to balance things at home now ds2 is back living with us. He is now working but Dh who is his stepdad is always looking for things to pick him up on. My ds2 is trying and does get moody at times but don’t we all.

I have been referred now re my shoulder, snoozer it’s now been over 6 months but is now affecting my arm and neck too. Think I need to learn to use my left arm more.

Redruby - sorry to read your update, thinking of you and sending positive vibes your way.
Gers - love the colour, it looks amazing.

I am slowly getting whole apartment envy. First the windows,  then the fireplace, then the floors. And now pretty colour and vast number of books envy x
