When you see those bunches of flowers on the A5, it seems like a far more frightening prospect believe me. I wouldn't even know where to start with a motorbike or where I would get the money to pay for one or the lessons. Is Wales a huge country? I guess I must have missed the memo about us invading somewhere- I don't think they count patagonia in that assesment.:rolleyes:Murphy_The_Cat wrote: »that's just excuse making defeatist BS.
Wales is a huge country and has lots of bikers. & because just over 1 a day takes a tumble, you're dismissing it as a mode of transport to get to work.
Come on TD, you're making yourself unemployable with an attitude like that.
Do you think that Vlodik from Warsaw would say 'sorry boss, I can't take the job because I can't get here on time' or do you think he'd say 'is there somewhere secure that I can park my bike and can I start on Monday' ?
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

TBH, what I'm hearing is a series of excuses not to do something.
The one thing that helped me get a job quickly was a positive attitude, and willingness to be flexible.Been away for a while.0 -

yeah but no but isnt going to get you a job, when I ready your OP I did have a little sympathy for you but as I read on it was like reading one of SP's posts, you are either his AE or on a wind up, if you really wanted a job you would have got one, so you have to get on 2 buses to retrain, so what ?? if it means doing it for a couple of years so it enables you to get into paid employment then you should be doing it, no ifs no butsTurkishDelight wrote: »When you see those bunches of flowers on the A5, it seems like a far more frightening prospect believe me. My area, rural Wiltshire, has over five pages of jobs, ranging from administrators to welders, cooks to labourers, accounts clerks to engineers. Pay scales are from minimum wage up to £30,000pa.
Plenty don't require a driving license. Buses between the villages are reasonable, if not brilliant.Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world

The jobcentre are happy with what I have been doing and they are picky. Murphy, yes I know- I have looked at those jobs, and every one of them I can't do. It seems unlikely I know but it is true.
