Hot off the press from The Sunday Times Travel supplement
"Thanks for passing this over to us - sorry to hear you've had so much trouble with LHH.
Would you like help resolving this? If so, our Travel Doctor, Julia Brookes, would be a good person to contact - you can email her on traveldoctor@thetimes.co.uk. Please note that due to time constraints she is not able to get back to everyone.
    Best wishes"
Can I encourage all those with a vested interest to submit their own tales of woe? The more correspondence the better and the more likelihood of publicity and resolution - Thanks.

LHH Scotland took our full payment of £2.900 and refuses to give us back our money. We booked a large property, Poyntzfield House, owned by Sarah Fraser, last November for my husband's 50th in May. Due to Covid 19 we could not travel, however we never cancelled our booking, LHH was simply unable to provide the service we had paid for. We had asked many times in writing for a refund with no luck. They keep referring us back to their lawyers. They were 4 key workers in our group and LHH Scotland is keeping our money. They had offered to re book but that was not possible for us, we claimed it through our Credit card but they appealed it back. Now we are in the process of appealing again to our credit card. The way we've been treated is appalling, please never ever use LHH Scotland.

Rolam. Each member of your group separately needs to register a complaint with the (CMA) Competition and Markets Authority. https://www.coronavirus-business-complaint.service.gov.uk/ The more complaints registered the more likely it is that the CMA will directly investigate LHH Scotland.

Each member of your group should also leave a review on Trustpilot.  This won’t get you your money back but it will make you feel better and it will definitely hack off Wynne Bentley the owner.

I think things have moved beyond "hacking off Wynne Bentley". There is a point at which a suppler/provider crosses the line between fighting their corner to uphold their business and flagrant disregard for all customers and the law of the land. Under this sort of pressure it becomes totally disreputable and bordering on the criminal, in my opinion.

Another unhappy customer. Succinct 1-star rating on Trustpilot posted today by Euan. Posted here to maintain a record as LHH Scotland will get it removed

Abhorrent Company !!! We booked a large holiday home with LHH. Due to the Covid pandemic LHH cancelled our booking.

No credit note, and no reschedule without agreeing to new and completely unfair terms and conditions. NO REFUND of our £900.00 stating our deposit was non refundable. This company is bordering on the criminal - avoid like the plague.
