Is £267 for the RAC Breakdown expensive - can i get it cheaper

I remember reading reviews of some of the cheapest ones. People were breaking down and phoning them but no-one was answering the phone. I think the trick is getting the ones in the middle ground who are much cheaper than the big 2 but also give a good standard of service. I have used GreenFlag more than any. Looking back they get to you fast but I don't think they have ever made much effort at roadside fixes. It's all been recovery. Maybe the big 2 try more roadside fixes?0

This, we have the Nationwide account for £13pm. We've never had to use the breakdown cover but as we only have the 1 car between us we need it to work.Clive_Woody said:Open a Nationwide Flexplus account, which costs £13 per month but includes top level European breakdown cover, including at home, also travel insurance and mobile phone insurance included too.
You are being taken for a ride....not in a good way.0
