Afternoon Hypno...and all...gosh you've all done loads of housework...must think of doing some myself ...will def do it over the weekend as have a feeling that I'll have no internet from tomorrow until monday...
So do I waste energy today...or do it weekend?...
That's great that you added the totals up wrong...and at least they were in your favour..lol...
Think I will catch up on threads and see whether I want to do housework...deciscisions...eh

I forgot to put our recycling bin out this week - it only gets emptied once a month and it's FULL!! Where on earth am I going to put all the wrapping paper and empty cardboard boxes from Xmas???

Our house isn't big enough to store anything, so I can't even keep it anywhere until after the bin has been emptied.

Might have to persuade hubby to do a trip to the tip, but goodness knows when, as he's working all the hours under the sun in the run up to Xmas.

I am so rubbish.....oh lol....geddit? Rubbish?!?!

I'l get me coat.....

you all are so amazing with what you get accomplished on the housework front, put me to shame! -- well almost -- was discomforted enough to call the OH at work and remind him of all the pots that need washing up before any sort of meal gets cooked tonight! :rotfl: (and three cheers it's a storecupboard meal at that!) :j

seriously... am going to try your 1/2 hour bursts this weekend Hypno and attempt the Christmas cleanup! there's no room for a tree in the front room... no room for the creche, let alone room for the new born babe in the manger...:D

Not sure if any of you have a large Tesco's near you -- but at ours you can collect Green Clubcard points for your tins/glass/plastic containers -- 1 point for 4 items, but every little bit helps! -- especially when that 1p turns into 4p using the Clubcard deals. Swipe the card at the big fancy recycling do da before putting the items in!

Ooh, will have a look at that next time I am at Tesco to see if ours does anything like it. As they say, every little helps!

I am trying to do a Toluna survey but it is so slow loading each page, so I am not sure it will get completed! I hope so, I could do with the points!

Have you had any luck with Toluna? Almost every survey seems to weed me out for one reason or another...

After 4 months of collecting there points, still only half way to that £12 HMV voucher...

may even have to spend real money on B-Day pressie for OH in Jan!

Well, the last couple of surveys I have done, have errors appearing when you are almost finished, and I have had to email to get my points credited.

I am only half way to getting a voucher though.....hoping that one will be earnt before next Christmas at least!!

I do find it frustrating though, the number that I get sent that are not suitable - surely that is why we do our profiling!

Hi all

That was cruel - saying your bin is empty - hehe However mine is not the recycling bin but the smelly rubbish bin - have to say DD was not pleased when I informed her that she has the job of double bagging it before we do a dump trip - do not want thant leaking in the car - awww yuk.

I finish a first going over the swamp - oh! you should have heard the reaction from DD. A bit like a 3yr old's temper tantrum but more verbal and louder stomping. She was still angry when DS and I laughed at her reaction - perhaps not the best move on our part but she was very funny - considering I only removed tons of rubbish, crockery and mountains of dirty clothes!

She is not speakking now - yipee a peacful evening - I even suggest she call her Dad and try living with him - she declined ...... I wonder why?
