That's a good idea, El....why do I never think of the obvious!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Oooh - Hypno - do you do Reiki? Can I pick your brains about learning? I would love to do this as it would really complement some of the other things I am doing (which are related to animal behaviour). Is there somewhere I can find Reiki courses close to me?0

Of course you can pick my brains Mizmir!
What I would suggest for reiki is go to your local library or complementary health shop and pick up some leaflets about people who teach reiki - they have to be Reiki Masters - nothing less will do.
Then talk to them, and get an initial gut feeling about them - if you feel comfortable with them, you will get on much better. If you can, go and have a treatment yourself with them and you will really guage how you will get on.
I do think that if you feel "at ease" with your teacher, you will take everything in so much better. If you "grate" with your teacher, you will reject the "stuff" because you are not relaxing and opening up, if that makes sense! Take time to find a master that is right for you - they are all so different.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Thanks - will put that on my list of things to do! Sounds like excellent advice - and I will get to have a few Reiki sessions in the process.0

Sea, you are an absolute star!!!!! Thank you :rotfl:
I have done the stuff I needed to do today - but only the essentials.....hospital appt for OH, mystery shop, groceries, made pack ups for the weekend, loaded the car, and ran the children around. Everything else will have to wait!
Foodwise, yummy salads today - antipasto for lunch and avacado, rocket and warm chicken salad for dinner.....could still murder for a bar of green and blacks though
Tomorrow is an early start, so I really should get an early night in. Might just mooch around the boards for a while first!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
