The dongle thingy is fabulous!! Wish I had got one yonks ago
Racing for today is over, and we are safely ensconsed in the travel inn nearby. There is a beefeater type thing next door which does cheap meals if you eat before 6.30. Given that the children want to be back in the room by then to watch Dr Who, I think we can take advantage of that one! Yummy!!
DFW wise, it was bloomin freezing where we were, so although I took a flask of coffee, I did buy a few hot drinks for us in the coffee shop, so have spent a little more than intended, but foodwise, our pack ups were more than plenty so no problems there.

Glad you are having a good time - albeit a cold one. GLad to hear the dongle works - thinking of getting one for DS for next year at Uni as he won;t be in Uni accomomadtion and don;t know whether the house is renting will have broadband. (He will obvioulsy be paying for it - not me !!!!)

Well work received a shipment of dongles described as "Doogles".

The place I am staying at offers a "Good Night's Sleep Guarantee"........if my sleep is disturbed because I am humming Magic Roundabout in my head, do you think that counts for a refund
Just had an excellent meal in the restaurant for a bargain price - I had steak and salad (very good for the diet, had no chips so got extra yummy salad) for £5.99......after 6.30 it doubles in price!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Got a cold-voice faded fast at work today so signed myself off sick and sent myself home....All of 5 steps.
Have been waiting since 1pm for the gas to come out as my meter has failed-apparently there are "a lot of gas leaks in Kent today" hence the non arrival of engineer GRRRR Off to ring them AGAIN <sigh>I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
