Back home - in one piece.......now need to catch up on all I have missed on MSE!

Moneywise, it was tough......especially as the car "died" when i was away, and a new battery had to be fitted at extortionate cost - of course had it happened at home I could have shopped around and got a good deal, but of course I was in France so was at the mercy of a French mechanic called Pascal who's English was limited, and my French did not extend to technical car "stuff" so I got robbed blind!!

I now have three weeks "between jobs" so I am planning........."operation organise hypno" .......:eek: :rotfl:

I have made a start........I have done some shredding since I have been home......and more frighteningly, I have done some ironing :T

Nice to be back, P. bloomin tired, but well worth all the effort I think.

My cheque from TD Waterhouse arrived while I was away :j Will be heading straight into the bank on Monday or Tuesday of this week :j

Well, If I don't get organised in this next three weeks, there will be hell to pay!! OH is off too - he has just had an op on his shoulder so won't be at work for a while........I am sure he will be good at monitoring my progress from the sofa :rolleyes:

With their being no such thing as a "holiday" for a good DFW girl as I am, I have been trying to update my snowball calculator, but half the financial sites I need to access for up to date figures are on a go slow, and won't load......I hope it is not an omen!

How's the matched betting going? Gave it up in July last year but am now planning to start again. Found £180 in my Betfair account which was a good start!
Need to refresh my memory about how it all works and what accounts I have but I keep getting free offers to "come back" so will get started with those!
