:hello: Hypno and glad you and the kids are enjoying it. Think how pleased you will feel when you come home and you have more in your pocket than the others. Sounds very exhausting though, you'll need a break when you get home!

    Enjoy!

Hi Hypno, glad that the snow is what you wanted. Just been looking at pictures of the snow at my sisters in France. My parents go their often. I alas havent been as yet, what with all these babies etc.
Hope that your not sick of the waffles yet.!! Got a few Euros, if only I could get them to you, you could have them. I can always start saving again!

Tonight though, I have a very exciting prospect.........I am going to the launderette :rotfl:

    oooooooooo, the laundrette!

just keep in mind that TV commercial where the really buff (and young) man strips off to his pants and puts everything else into the machine for washing!

(...and while you are busy offering him washing powder, ask if he has a brother or two for the rest of us!:D )

Well, I never made it to the launderette - did some handwashing in the sink and hung to dry on the radiators - saved me €5.50 in the process. Cant put off the launderette for ever though, and the possibility of buff young men stripping to their undies may just tempt me through the doors.....

I have done a survey while I am here - £1.20 on pure profile......not quite enough to pay for another vin chaud! I still need to check quidco - last time I looked my biggies had not tracked, so I will need to put in enquiries.....damn.

    Hope everyone else is well!

Hi guys. the sun has been out today and the snow has been fantastic. Sadly for me though, my injuries from the car accident back in the summer have been causing me problems and I am in a lot of pain meaning that skiing is more difficult than usual as I am having to ease off a lot (and I am NOT used to doing that!).

However, we are still having a good week. The children are skiing well, and it is a delight to see all the hard work of the last few months having paid off. They also behave really well and I am very proud of them - some of the people about at the moment are so completely up themselves that it is almost laughable, but I have to say that if that is what having money does for your attitude, I would rather stay poor!!

I hope you are all having a good week......El, have you done any more cupboards?

    xx

hey mrs sorry not been on been on the dreaded night shift all this week topped with the news i got a job interview ...cue haircut (it really was bad) so after the first night shift i had to stay up till 2pm then after the second i had to stay up till 1pm boss prepping me for interview then had to get back up at 6pm for more intreview prep after the next night shift i had a course to do dentist to go to then bed up at 4pm to go to job number 2 then back for the last night shift back to the hairdressers then onto interview then had lunch and off to job number 2 ...i can safely say i havnt had time to clean me bum never mind a cupboard :rotfl: :rotfl: ...all of this for a job i knew i wouldnt get (nepitism alive and kicking) i actually knew i wouldnt get it but i think it was the boot up the bum i needed to get myself into gear to go hunting for the right job ...tomorrow i have the distinct pleasure of working a 8 hour shift then i think on sunday i will be sleeping and possibly (just possibly mind) might do a cupboard ...

can i just ask can i come over and visit i think i might actually get a break in bed for 9pm sounds like heaven right now ...i would even wash your undies save you money on the laundrette lol

El, did you get the job?

Quick update - the races have now finished and the hypno children remain standing with all arms and legs intact!

All in all, an awful lot of work went into this, one way or another - but the smiles on my kids faces have said it all for me.

Thank you for your support over these last few months - I know I could not have done this without you.

Love you all and "speak" to you again soon when I am back in the UK!

Hi Hypno, nice to see your post. Sorry I missed it. Not sure about El's job, but I have been given managers job at the branch og BHF near where I live. Start officially on Monday. But been working out of the shop for 2 weeks. Part time.
Glad kids are all in one piece. Safe journey home. Sure you will catch up on all your MSE stuff when you do.
