    Bonjour!!

Yesterday was not such a good day, but today was fab!! It was incredibly cold, but the snow.....oh it was sooooo good! (almost as good as chocolate, so that must be pretty good!).

The children are working hard - so that is good, and they are looking forward to racing at the weekend and next week.

Money wise, it is tough - everything here is so expensive and the people I am with are not watching the pennies - it means that when we stop for lunch, I have the cheapest thing on the menu (normally a waffle at €3.50) while they have the Plat du Jour at about €15 plus a bottle of wine, and a couple of coffees.....The children are finding it equally difficult, but they never complain when I only give them enough money for a plate of chips rather than the 2 courses that the others have. DS has however, got the knack of lying about his age so he can get the kiddy menu, which generally includes something with chips, plus ice cream and a drink!

Hope life is well with you xx

    Hi P, how's the eye?

In the evening we are so shattered that we collapse and go to sleep at about 9pm! Parties are aplenty in the village, but not for those of us that need to be bright eyed and bushy tailed early in the morning!! I am too old to party AND ski!!

Tonight though, I have a very exciting prospect.........I am going to the launderette :rotfl:
