The drive was ok - just very long and I got very very tired. We had plenty of stops for coffee which was much needed just to keep me awake. The weather was good for the drive which was a bit of luck because the rain followed pretty much immediately AFTER us and apparently it was very difficult to see.

Apparently course inspection for the races is at 6am.........  Oh the joys of being a race parent :rotfl:

Been away from the computer for the weekend. Glad you made it safely, and hope that the early mornings are not too much of a killer for you.
Had my hair done on Friday so I could have my passport photo taken. Another 10 years with a not so brilliant picture. Least this time I no longer look like a Dierdre Barlow.
Then I can think about going on Holidays again. (If I can ever afford one of course.). Lost those Sun Holiday coupons in the move here in February. Cant believe that I have been living in this house 2 months already. Oops better get the unpacking done properly, never mind go on holiday!
Enjoy the skiing, and I hope the children do well.

Hi guys. the sun has been out today and the snow has been fantastic. Sadly for me though, my injuries from the car accident back in the summer have been causing me problems and I am in a lot of pain meaning that skiing is more difficult than usual as I am having to ease off a lot (and I am NOT used to doing that!).

However, we are still having a good week. The children are skiing well, and it is a delight to see all the hard work of the last few months having paid off. They also behave really well and I am very proud of them - some of the people about at the moment are so completely up themselves that it is almost laughable, but I have to say that if that is what having money does for your attitude, I would rather stay poor!!

I hope you are all having a good week......El, have you done any more cupboards?

    xx

  • Totally jealous, but sounds like the children are really benefitting from it all. I know what you mean about folks being up themselves in those places. My bros gf, is very similar and half the time she embarrasses us all with stupid demands when we are out and about.
