OOoh don't get me started. I do love a man on a bike on Sundays i go upto a local place where all the bikers go, and admire at a distance-well close up. i think in my old age my tastes are very varied0 the kids often play the spiderman hero song and there is a hairy man on there with the most gorgeous eyes- i can't help it go weak at the knees.
Apologies Hypno for outpouring on thread-just excuse it to lack of tablets from a cross dressing old broad:D

I've been sleeping quite well recently, but I think I had more energy when I was surviving on 3 or 4 hours a night!

I would LOVE to be able to ski though. There is a fab skiing place near us, and it would be so exciting to be able to zoom down the slope looking cool! But I stick to peering enviously through the window. :o

Oh, we should have a skill-sharing thing shouldn't we? You could teach us all to ski, and I will......um.............wash up? :o

Ooh, trading ski instruction for anything housework related......you're on :T

Give the skiing a go - do it for a birthday treat or something. I don't know if your local slope has anything similar, but our slope do special sessions for those with disabilities and a number of aspergers and autism children get on with it really really well - even our godson who is about as autistic as they come has been skiing with us on the dry slope and went away for a week on the real stuff with his school!!

My one and only brush with a pair of skis ended with a broken finger! :rotfl:

But I WILL try again one day. :D I'd love skiing lessons as a birthday present, that's a great idea. Probably not this year, but maybe next year if money isn't so tight, I'll drop some hints to Stu. ;)

  • The only time i went skiing was on a grass slope at rossendale. I got on the lift wombled off at the top and came down backwards- i couldn't turn round. All my mates ptsl and i never went up again. One now prefers to stay off piste watching in admiration at those who can.

Morning! Not a lot to report this morning.......I need to get ready for going away tomorrow evening, and to move bits and pieces of money around so that I can pay for things.....but before then I have to go to work.....
