Good Morning,
Spotted your comment about not having driven abroad.
In the last few years we've probably driven more in Europe than in England. Only tips are if you are at all tired take a break. The autoroutes are normally easier as it's obvious which side is which, and also plenty of parking stops for breaks if tired.
You tend to need to concentrate more on the side roads, and places like supermarket and hotel carparks, where there are less signs etc to remind you.
Have a super break, you deserve it.0 -
Have a lovely time Hypno and mini hypno's. Driving in France is fine - just remember on roundabouts to go the other way to here. If you are on the autorouts there are plenty of places to pull off and rest and they are usually grassy pleasant areas with picnic benches etc. If you stop at these use the disabled loos though as quite often the other loos and holes to stand over !!!!!! :rotfl:
Catch up with you in two weeks time !!!!!0 -
Awww..think I've missed you Hypno as your light is off...hope you have a wonderful holiday as you truly deserve it and driving should be fine if you take it easy ....see you in a couple of weeks at worst (but I guess that you'll find WI.FI)...0

Hi Hypno I hope you have a great time...I'm so envious, not just of your holiday but of the experience you are giving your children, its invaluable.
As for the driving I know you will be fine, if I can do it anyone can and it helps keep you awake as you have to concentrate even harder.
Will be interesting when you get back to see how DFW you have managed it, another one of your challenges eh and you are always good at them.
