Hope you catch up !!! Have a good day too. I've been signed off for another 7 days - how boring is that !
  • Well done on your achievements to date Hypno - you are truely an inspiration :T

Thought you might be interested in this offer:

    - Quidco are offering a huge £110 for taking out a shares Isa with L&G. I took one out, put in £50 per month for 2 months, got the £110 (although I did need to put in an enquiry) and then withdrew the dosh as I need it to pay off debts at the moment. OH did the same, I lost £3 on my money, he lost £1.80 - so easy profit of £215.20 overall.

Congratulations on your new job too! :j

    Best of luck!

    Hi Hypno,

Sorry you'll be salary less in April. Did I miss a post? Did you just do the decent thing and let your present employer know you'd got another job as soon as you knew and so they started the clock ticking re notice??

Presumably it isn't poss to continue with your current job until the end of April?

Oops... that doesn't sound too good, El - what are the chances you'll get it? I can't do it this tax year, but if its still around I'd certainly do it after the new tax year starts.... um, I hate to say this, but shares will be lower priced then too, I should think.

Hope everyone's having a good day - hypno, I've never seen a rushed late post from you - fancy taking time to do it tho! You knew we'd be worried about you if there was nothing at all! Hope today hasn't been too awful, and you've still had time to be dfw in what you do.

    Take care.

That's a good point El (I do hope you don't mind me calling you that...), I did say that I had to raise a Quidco query as the transaction never tracked (as did OH), in my original post, but I probably didn't make that clear enough (I'm always having to raise queries these days but never had one declined so far, so didn't really think about it too much). Anyway, we both got our £110 (although it took a good 3 weeks wait from when we raised the query with Quidco).

I also have a few friends who set up the same thing and who also had to raise a query with Quidco (around the same time). I checked with them all today (6 people) and they also got their £110 paid at the beginning of March :j

Hope that gives you a little bit of security that it should come through.

Just got in from an award ceremony where the children picked up their sports cheques. It was a bit long......but worth it to get the money!!

Have now done the quidco ISA application, and will be prepared to do the enquiry if it doesn't track, and OH is now sorting out the car insurance on quidco too as it runs out tomorrow. So, hopefully in a couple of months I will have a nice amount of quidco cash to withdraw, and hopefully it will come when my "low income" month is with me.

Hope you have all had a good day x
