I have done the majority of the essay - final finishing touches can be made tomorrow evening, but basically it is done!

Woo hoo!! I am tired now, so will probably give up shortly and go to bed!

Hope you have a good day too Hypno. Weather here is really nasty and I feel it could be a very long day for me too. DD and friends are going to see The Hoosiers tonight in Cambridge and it looks like it will be me taking them. DH has taken my little car to work (otherside of Orwell Bridge) leaving me the 7 seater as we have a feeling he may get stuck in Ipswich if they close the bridge. First day back at work today as well !!

Oh well - the joys of being a parent!!

hey hypno i know the monday morning feeling i aint even working but had to get up at 6 am today to do the volunteer work i do only to find out that one of the places i go to is snowed in but will now need to help out with another volunteer thing ...why do i do it to myself ....

Snow!!!! I had to go outside briefly about an hour ago, my bin and recycling boxes were blown into the road, and when I left the lee of my house, I thought I'd been hit by something - and I was, it was just raindrops! Its kind of frightening out there. Stay safe, everyone.

Glad you decided to at least finish the first year as it leaves your options open.Sorry about DS not passing his grading...congrats to DD for passing...they did really well as they only had 6 weeks training.
I decided last night not to work due to the weather as I want to keep the doors on the cab...but weather doesn't seem to have been too bad here.

As DS was only due in for 3 hours today I gave him the choice of school this morning or working from home instead.
Off to crack the whip shortly and make sure he does SOME work
We have an appointment at a local 6th form this afternoon-hoping the wind has dropped by then.
