Thanks, MiT, the first 363 words have been typed out.....only another squillion to go (or that is how it feels, anyway!)

At least you've started - I find that the hardest part every time. How many words is it?

  • You're doing really well... its amazing after all the procrastinating how quickly it comes together once you've actually started. I should know I am the worlds worst at putting it off til last minute.
Do you intend to finish it tonight?

I am having a break for "Lark Rise to Candleford" and will then do another half an hour or so - that breaks the back of it, and then I will finish it off tomorrow.

It won't be the best piece of work ever, but hopefully it will suffice!

  • And there are times when 'suffice' will do :D

Good luck with the rest of it and enjoy your programme

Trying to do the sensible thing, Gemmz, and finish this year. If I do decide to go back to it, then it will be better to apply having completed the whole of the first year, rather than 2 terms.

Also, on a very negative point......I will be on 3 months probation in the new job. Just in case it doesn't work out (although I am sure it will be fine), I can then continue year 2 of the course in September, and go and get myself another teaching post.

So, in the interests of trying not to burn my bridges, I am carrying college on for the moment..........although right now, the temptation not to is quite high!

Good move, I was hoping you'd end up doing that. I believe you can get the first year certificated which is still a CV booster should you ever need it later, or as you say to return to.

Covering all eventualities is really good. It'll all be worth it :D

You're really good at that, the whole covering-all-eventualities - thats why you can go for this stockbroker one now, after all - good for you.

I love the sound of the takeaway - I wish somewhere did glutenfree, dairy free, wholefood takeaways, sigh........ ah well, what I had tasted good, even if it *was* me that cooked it!
