You won't. Find out what their private-car milage rate is, then invoice them that. Tell them if it happens again, you'll charge for your time too.

Would certainly be worth doing this - it might make them think about the hassle they are causing.

    Aww sorry Taxi xx

Another long day awaits, with work followed by clients this evening. All money in the pot though so mustn't complain.

I hope you all have a good day xx

Morning Hypno -- just popped on to say hi & give you an update! (other wise the bad lurker habit will resurface!) -- glad to hear that you've treated yourself, a little pampering goes a long way & you definately deserve some treats after all your hard work!!!
So here goes the free money update...
Last week's bingo winnings are in the bank along with some from lightspeed, for a grand total of £56.10!!! All to the grocery fund...
...or as the OH would like to point out for the purchases at Selfridges in London last week! :rotfl: ..mind you they were all on the 'list', don't go anywhere without it, saves overspends...
...oh and the trip was actually work related so at least the travel and lunch go towards the 'loss' in the profit/loss accounting!!!!
Off to do some more bingoing & then a MASSIVE tidy of the house, including the dreaded ironing...
Hope you have a lovely day & remember the coffee breaks to fuel you along!:coffee: :coffee: :coffee:
    RT
    4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)
(With heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before us & their indubitable generosity.)
    ...and now I have a mortgage! (23 AUG 2021)
New projection - 14 YEARS 8 MONTHS LEFT OF 20 YEARS (reduced by 16 mths)
Psst...I may have started a diary!

Morning, everyone. I have given up trying to read all of the thread its taken me an hour to read from 106 to119 and I havent got the time, I am lurking at DBF and I really should be going home, and then up to the flat to carryon with the cleaning of the mould off of the walls in the bedrooms. (Was behind furniture so I didnt know it was there until we moved out!). It looks huge now that all our stuff is out and its just the carpets. Got to take them up or the council will charge me. Need help for that as my arm is not going to cope with that. Sky still not got my broadband going, hence I have been away for 2 weeks near as dam. Getting withdrawal sypmtomns. Think I spelt that wrong? Oh well.
I hope to be back at my job this coming week. Meeting tomorrow. But not sure I will cope. Got to try though. If not able then I have to go for incapacity? Need a benefits expert me thinks.!! Social are trying to withdraw the funding for BBJ and have also wanted to withdraw funding for twin2s taxi from her baby club and place she meets the father. They withdrew the going one before we moved. I suggested it would be cheaper for them to give her a monthly bus pass? We wait and see. If she gets one of them then she can go other places too. But they are not exactly the most forthcoming of services at the moment. Didnt get help with the move or anything else. But at least it only cost me £20 to give the kids friends a drink!. Everyone else did it for free. Well they did too, I just gave them it as they had given up thier Sunday.
House is looking rather smaller now all our stuff is in. But I still have a lot to do unpacking.
The dog is currently with DBF as the people who were going to have him let us down. So I am now looking for a new home for him, again. Heartbroken that we have to loose him. Well I better go and get home then. Take care all. The debt reducing is making me feel very guilty that I lost the plot over the last week or so. Buying the car has wiped out my savings now. need to change my signature, thats a thought.!!
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Happy Valentine's Day, hypno - hope you and the OH can toast one another, at least. I'm kind of ignoring it and being a humbug.... hope you're finished with the clients now and just relaxing for a bit before bedfordshire... and I had some pizza too! V rare for me, cos of wheat allergy, but I went to a big Sainsbury cos of a mystery shop, and then found some half price wheat/gluten free pizza base. Made the topping this evening, it was lurvely.
