Have pm'd you back, good luck xx

Morning is here once again, and overnight, OH won a profit of £38.26 on bingosky so that is good, and almost definitely the last of our bingo winnings in this lifetime!

I hope you all have a good day, I am back at work, having only had the one day off.....should have taken two days.....or three......or four! It was lovely to have had a day with the children yesterday...........even if we did spend money :o

    xx

    Hi hypno!

Well done on more bingo winnings - so, what did you do yesterday? Something nice? I hope so.

I couldn't sleep, so am up really early, carried on some chucking out of paperwork - another 2.5 inches added to the recycling pile, old newspapers etc. I love doing that!

I had a lovely day with the children, had my haircut for the first time in well over a year, bought some shoes in the sale (only £10 but still felt so so naughty) and bought some bits for the children that they need....new underwear, football boots etc but it was just really nice to be "normal" for a short while!

Have a good day......I need to go through my shredding too - perhaps I can leave it as a task for the children while I am at work today!

Thats lovely - normal, like you say. We need that sometimes, I'm sure we do. I only shred the confidential financial stuff, but its a great feeling to be freeing up space - its my ambition to get rid of the crappy old shelves haunting the recess in my living room, and put one of my nice bookshelves there - but that needs a drastic lessening of the amount of stuff I've got, hence all the emphasis on paper decluttering.

Have a good day you - and, you know, the kids might enjoy the shredding, I'm sure they can be trusted not to shred their fingers too!

    Morning all
Shredding fingers is something they'll only do once and delegation is a wonderful concept :)
Flights for our July holiday are booked but need to shift money around to pay for them-and then stay VERY much on the straight and narrow the next few months.
After the shift from hell on Sunday and a day off Monday work was fine last night-and I got my confidence back-even volunteered for some overtime. What a difference a day makes-usually I love "challenging" days working as I like a challenge and the day flies by-think I'll be fine now
Josh's transport to school has been erratic all week and today-no transport at all. I'm really NOT happy -the council supply transport because Josh's disability means he can't cope with public transport and needs stability-and then use the least reliable (probably the cheapest) cab company. I'm waiting for the council transport department to ring back now-and shall give them the "kids on the autistic spectrum need stability and reliability speech "(again) GRRRR Never seem to get offered my extra costs back when this happens either
Not a great start to the day-time for more coffee I think

You won't. Find out what their private-car milage rate is, then invoice them that. Tell them if it happens again, you'll charge for your time too.
