Hi there boredofbeingathome!! I am happy with the bingo win because I thought I had well and truly scuppered my bingo-ing future!!
Mind you, today is going to be expensive (football boots, DS haircut, school uniform etc) so it is good that I can offset a little!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Yep i know that feeling, i got a nice cheque from the coop for backdated charges. My dd lost her glasses and persuaded me to get designer ones which had buy one get one half price on a website we have used before- a lot cheaper than high street, she did buy the full priced pair and i paid for the other pair. Then we have had numerous birthdays- i have kept costs down but it still mounts up. The microwave went, we had a leak in the kitchen, but only 50 excess to pay and my front door wont shut and split when we tried- my nice cheque is all gone now. but at least i had the money when i needed it so god is good like that. I think i may try the bingo thing and flap the old bingo wings- or maybe spend the last tenner on rejoining slimming world!!Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

There is always something!! But at least we are not adding to the debt. In the old days, it would have had to go on the credit card, for sure!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. That's so true, my Oh still thinks a bit like that i have a long way to go in educating him in the MSE way. Although he was lucky at bingo on the holiday sites so may set him on that task- a sort of earn your petrol for work campaign. I set up my paypal account on e bay yesterday and am going to have a try at that, i have also signed up for piggy points but not quite sure about that one yet. I also got on quidco and have got over 90 back on that so far, just waiting for it to be paid out.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
