i've got my own house work party going on here! but just finished 2 rooms, just the two big rooms and the hall to do now.

Yes, I confess mine has been through the drier too.........:o

I have started the housework, but I had let it get so so so so bad that baby steps just doesn't cut it today. It is half term this coming week so the children are primed ready to do housework tasks for me, in return for having been allowed to live the high life for the past few weeks.

Might get the hoover out in a minute......:eek:

I need to go and get DD from the ski club (she has been there since 8.30!) soon, so perhaps this will spur me to get off the sofa again and finally go and get that hoover.

Trouble is, I have a cup of coffee with me.....would be a shame to put it to one side just at the moment.

Cheeky mare!! Not only is my coffee drunk, but I have been to collect DD and have run the hoover around the lounge......have also done some dusting, and put a load of washing in......so nah nah nana nah!!!!

Now going to put the kettle on again before I attempt the next 5 mins of housework!!

My Dh is busy having his Sunday off which seems to mean i do the housework and the dinner
We both worked shifts & weekends for years and a weekend off was a big treat:j but now we are both mainly mon - fri yet he still thinks weekends are playtime I wish:mad:
Being so houseworkery challenged I have shredded stuff from my qualification course (15years ago) and ended up making more mess:mad: still have no clothes for work for the week and too embarassed to invite anyone in:o the kitchen is a tip and I will have to climb over piles of washing to go to bed!!

At least I have been shopping and had a couple of drinks in the local:beer: my theory being if you can't beat them, join them!
