Thanks, Seaxwyn......I think the certainty of a regular salary has given me more of a stress-reliever than I expected. Having that pressure taken off me makes such a difference (so far - early days in the world of being employed again, so not counting on anything!!).

Mudbath, yes today after speaking to DD I knew it was all worth the hard work. We still have to pay some of the money so can't let up yet!

Good morning - it's Friday!!! This week has flown by! The children are coming home at the end of next week - they have the World Cup Ski race on nearby tomorrow, so are going to watch that - a really fab day awaits for them I think, then DS is going for more racing in Switzerland next week - boys only, no girls allowed! So DD will have a girlie ski time back at base, which I think she is looking forward to!

Yesterday I made February's meal plan, and started doing the shopping list that goes with it. A bit of tweaking required yet, but I am hoping for another fairly cheap month

Hypno, where do you get your energy and determination from? If you could bottle it and sell it on you'd be debt free in no time. I read your diary regularly and just can't believe how much you get done in a 24 hour period.

Amazing stuff, hypno, as always, and I'm glad you got to see your nana, she must be proud of you. The kids sound like they're having a great time, fantastic to see a World Cup race in the flesh too, but I'm not surprised you're missing them loads.

Mornin gone and all and how are we today!!! Hypno, bet you'll be glad to have the kids back home for a wee while, i understand about watching them on TV and not having them with you, that must've been surreal...
Hope that you all have a great day today and a fab weekend, I will have my laptop with me at the weekend, so watch this space hypno on what we were talking about the other day.

Plus, it's payday today so i can buy you a jar of coffee and i have scrubbed my kitchen to within an inch of its life. I fully expect to be able to arrange a coffee meet sometime next week. He he ....

Just to let everyone know, I am going to be moving soon!! The 6 bedroomed house I looked at, really turns out to be 4 bedrooms upstairs, with 2 rooms downstairs masquarading as bedrooms, but it means that we will all get a room to ourselves. I got the go ahead this morning, the rent is £1500!!! But that appears to be the going rate around here, so Housing Benefit will pay the difference for me thank god!!. Just not happy that I cannot have my dog with me. I cannot believe how fast things have moved from a no go, to a here we are. It is a move into the private sector, but a bedroom to myself...... Privacy here I come.....I only have to thank everyone for supporting me and not letting me give up, as I was tempted to do. Dont know how I am going to get packed up, and moved in a week, Gulp, but I will do what I can. Have so much to do now, I think I will go dolally tap in the next few days.....
On another note I was at the hospital yesterday, its just keep on with the physio and come back in 6 weeks. No talk of having to have surgery thank god.
So I am on a high. (and a little bit of a panic). so much to do. So little time to do it, as usual.
Thanks everyone for all the support and help.
Hypno, your doing so well, it puts me to shame.
Catch you all a bit later, when I get down off the ceiling.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

    Afternoon Hypno and all,
As usual Hypno you are very organised having done the meal plans think I may do that myself. Bet you're looking forward to the kiddies coming home and how wonderful to have some girlie time with your daughter...(while son is away)....everything seems to be running more smoothly since you took up paid employment so am really pleased for you.
Mooloo what wonderful news I'm so happy for you and your family ..I can't believe that they let you stay where you were with that amount of overcrowding but at least you have loads more space now...I know movings stressful but it can't be as stressful as the last few months all living in such cramped conditions....perhaps this is our year folks...lets keep all these positive vibes flowing....
