Right, can I get a tan first? or a tummy tuck,? Actually no. I think I might give it a miss. I might cause a riot. Night night all. Thanks again for all the advise. Will takle the twins again tomorrow about rent etc. Joel still up and crying. Been hours now. Looks like I wont get much sleep today. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0

Morning all - mooloo, I hope you managed to get some sleep last night. The storm was pretty viscious here - even woke DS up and he can normally sleep through anything! Thankfully the storm stopped pretty suddenly so everyone could go back to bed.
Today will be spent doing online mystery shops this morning, working in the bar this afternoon, then home to do either loads of admin, or loads of nothing, depending on how I feel!
Hope you all have a good day xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Morning all
Elantan - well done on all those changes. Cleaning cupboards  I started to read that book and while it made a lot of sense, I haven't actually changed anything. Still have to hunt for my keys every time I need them. Great idea on the wardrobe - mine could do with purge of the 'might come in useful for work' dull items.
Mooloo - definitely ask the girls for £60 each - that is totally reasonable! As you say, it doesn't cover tv and car costs.
It sounds as if you need a good social worker advising you on YOUR needs, not only looking at the girls. You are a carer now and carers have certain rights, including to respite. Can the CAB help with reinstating their DLA?
I hate to ask this, but do the girls understand about the importance of contraception now?
Morning Hypno! Thanks for running such a friendly thread where we all feel so welcome. Hope you have a good day. I'm off to Oxford to visit my sis and go to the theatre in the BMW factory (looking forward to that) - but before I go need to do a couple of hours work and clean the bathroom. Maybe catch you on here.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
Have a good trip to Oxford! What are you going to see at the theatre?
I will be on MSE for a good couple of hours this morning - the work I have to do this morning is all on-line based, so I can keep popping back in quite easily!!
As for a friendly thread - it is only those that visit that make it friendly. Nowt to do with me!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
We're going to see Tales from the Brothers Grimm - a concoction of Snow White, Rumpelstiltskin etc - see https://www.creationtheatre.co.uk They are an amazing theatre company who do really lively inventive shows that appeal to all ages. A nice christmas holiday treat, I'm feeling guilty (as usual) that the kids haven't done much this holidays except watch tv and argue. I honestly rue the day I allowed the TV back into our house.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

I am sure you will all have a good time. My two are making the most of the fact that there has been less race training etc over Christmas so they have not had to set an alarm clock. Both are catching up on much needed sleep, so quite peaceful here.
Race training starts again in the morning though, so back to the old routines!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
 Hi! I'm back!!! Got back midevening yesterday, starting to catch up on a few diaries, haven't gone to my own yet, oops, but I wanted to catch up on the news. And what a lot! I watched Ballet Shoes too - never read it as a child, I was too much of a tomboy. I loved it, tho I did suspect it had been tweaked to allow more of a starring role to Emma Watson.
Otherwise.... it was good, caught up with a cousin, his parents are both dead so its important to start new traditions to keep him in the family, and had our first Boxing Day meal at my brother's new house, which was lovely, my new sister in law not only puts on a great spread, as we say, but also had presented it so beautifully, it was lovely.
Now.... back to moneysaving and debtbusting! Still got more Chrissy things to do, but they'll be fitted in around debtbusting. Its great to be back!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi KC! Glad to see you back! You sound like you have had a good time over Christmas. What plans do you have for this debtbusting frenzy you mention?Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes.
