Hiya! It was good over Christmas, Boxing Day was very stress free as I wasn't in the house doing the hosting, and it was fewer of us as well, and we used my chestnut roast as stuffing at the next family do and *everybody* liked it (except a 7 year old, but I think thats understandable!). :rotfl:
My debtbusting frenzy :money: :money: :money:
.... familiarise with betfair, then start matched betting via the Olympic Challenge, and with gtd if he wants.... religiously do all surveys.... start clicking again.... get going with the trading finally... join some more mystery shopping firms..... get everything I can onto amazon.... be brave and get into ebay too (I feel sure that my stuff wouldn't sell, but some obviously does).... prepare two areas in the garden, one for salady stuff and one for perennial fruit bushes.... use up storecupboard.... I have some paperwork to do in January, but will keep doing free offers on quidco and greasypalm, and have a blitz on quidco in February..... when I've finished what I can think of, I'll go through Martin's tips for making money. I want the money to rewire and replumb this year, as well as pay off debts, thats why the £20k challenge.
Anything else you can think of, hypno? Ooh, bingo, I never understand that. That might have to be for February too.

An acceptable start, KC, I suppose, but will you get it all done by lunchtime
:rotfl:
So far this morning I have earnt £10 online and had a cheque for £20 in the post which I will bank on Monday and pay straight off a debt. Need to earn another £20 this morning before I go to the bar job which will bring in another £25 or so after tax. It all adds up!! :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Okay, how did you earn the tenner? I've just been pottering about on mse, what did you do??? See, this is what happens, I get stuck and don't go anywhere. :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I have been with one particular mystery shop company for several years (about 6yrs) and they are finally sending me decent stuff to do!! For years I did all the dross for pennies for them and now I get my reward - they have sent me a job that is in 10 stages each paying £10 which needs to be done by 7th Jan.......am sure I can manage that
Rather than leave it til the last minute and try and panic on 6th Jan, I am doing a couple of stages a day and hope to have it done and ready to commit on Jan 1st - then it will count for my £10 a day challenge!!

Ooh! Right, thats it, I'm joining every single one I can lay my mitts on. I know I'm t'other side of London, so no competition with you..... glad you're getting good jobs from them, thats nice. I had a little £5 one offered to me recently - for mid-March! They must like my timekeeping, lol.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Morning All
Welcome back KC glad you had such a recharging break.
Mooloo are you getting milk tokens for both babies. I agree that DLA does not stop but it is possible the girls didn't renew their claims as they were away from home. Look into this as a matter of urgency-especially as if you (they) can claim a mobility element (which from what you say sounds possible) it may help with the car situation. £60 each sounds more than fair-you're still leaving them with money for themselves and to buy baby clothes etc. Time to put your foot down I think-Good luck !I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Morning Hypno & co!
I'm slowly recovering from the chocolate poisining that was Christmas, and thought I'd dare to pop on here for a bit at great risk of being distracted for the rest of the day and not doing what I should be (which is work, interspersed with Ebay 10p listing day!).
Hope you all have a productive day - if I'm still here at teatime, someone please tell me to pee off and do what I should be doing!0 -
Hi Duchy, and PP!
PP, I too have a lot of ebay type stuff to do - perhaps we should have a mini challenge this weekend......I am working today, but tomorrow I am aiming to get everything ready to list.......what do you reckon.....I hope to do 25 items tomorrow.........:D
As for the chocolate poisoning, I am with you on that one - have still got quite a lot to get through before I can think about living healthily again.....shame :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. 25 items in one weekend  Even I don't have that much junk to sell and I'm emptying my wardrobe/loft etc of anything that's not been used for 12 monthsNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Ooh, a challenge! But unfortunately my listing is a bit different to yours - I've not actually got anything new with me to list, it's just a case of sending several hundred shop inventory items that have previously been listed to fixed price for the increased visibility. Would be easy, except Ebay is a pile of poo and make me go in and edit item specifics on half the items every time I do this, which takes ages because Ebay is on a permanent go-slow which becomes a virtual stop on these listing days. Have complained, but do they care?! Oh, how we all love Ebay!!!
Will go for the challenge though, that you manage to get your 25 items done, and I'll try and get my 300 edited.
ill start just after I've finished this chocolate orange...0
