NS&I Junior ISA Transfer Time

Options
Can anybody else who has recently transferred a Junior ISA into an NS&I JISA tell me how long it took? I applied 03/05 & the funds still haven’t transferred over. I phoned NS&I a week ago and they were apologetic saying everything taking longer due to staff shortages but think it’s getting a bit excessive now. Transfer was from Coventry BS.
(They have said interest I will earn interest from a/c opening date but still..... they advised me not to pay any money into it until others funds have transferred)

  • Very similar dates to you here too. When I contacted them late last week they said they were still processing transfers from April....  I'll be following up again next week I think.

Mine was a couple of days shy of the two weeks they advised it may take.

I think it is likely that they have been inundated with new accounts at precisely the wrong time.

  • Going well this...Today I received a letter asking me to complete, sign and return an ISA transfer form which contained all the same info I gave when I signed up (bar the signature). A couple of days shy of a month since application now. :s

I did CTF to NSand I junior ISA, it took a while, a few weeks whilst they clarified details and the CTF building society were short staffed too.
